About Me

     Hello, my name is Corina, and I am your new babysitter I am going to let you in on a bit of my background so you have an idea of who I am . I was born in New Zealand and grew up on Norfolk Island, where my family decided to move to Australia when I was 15. I went to an all-girls boarding school, where I left to begin my career as a hairdresser.

After a few years working on the Gold Coast, I packed up and moved to England, where for 17 years I barbered and hairdressed in both the beautiful Soho and Covent Garden areas of London. In total, my hairdressing career ended up being a wonderful 28 years long. Both my husband and I chose to come back to the Gold Coast of Australia and set down roots.

 After a short sabbatical, I decided to change professions and chose this career in both babysitting and nannying. I have been working for the most amazing company for the last 3 years, to whom I am very grateful. I have now decided the time is right to go out on my own into the big world and do what I love best: looking after children.

      As a dedicated babysitter, I understand that families often have furry friends that are just as much a part of the family as the children. As an animal lover myself, I am always happy to work with families who have pets in the home. Whether it’s a cat or a dog, I know how important these animals are to the family dynamic and I am more than willing to provide care and attention to them as well.
